Our Chef Neil Harding specialises in fantastic, fresh seafood and is at The Dower House on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Neil has been working in the area for over 20 years and had his own, very successful seafood restaurant in Sidmouth for 8 years.
Fresh fish is sourced daily from local fishermen and Brixham market.
We use local suppliers and produce where ever possible when planning the daily changing al a carte menu.

A highly varied menu changes daily so that it always reflects the freshest possible produce straight from the catch,
Our menu may include Cornish Sardines, Seafood Soup, Brixham Squid, Soused Mackerel and Fresh Mussels to start,
followed by
Red Mullet with Pesto roasted Butternut Squash, Whole Lemon Sole with homemade Tartare Sauce and
Roast loin of Monkfish on a Prawn and Lemon Risotto


We seek to cater for all tastes, so there is much more to our cooking than simply seafood.
Confirmed carnivores can choose from a range of meat dishes, including Tender Steaks or Local
free range Duck and Chicken, while vegetarians need never feel left out with a choice of dishes prepared to order.
